Should you really have to browse with JavaScript turned off though? If it has the functionality then shouldn't the device have the horsepower to be able to handle it? I'd expect a modern smartphone to be able to manage enough JavaScript to handle loading a couple of blogs, it's not like the pages I chose were particularly complex, just long pages with lots of content.
